Gather Go GetNew Documentation Requirements – Florida has new documentation requirements for residents renewing or obtaining a new driver license or identification card. For office visits, you must bring original documents that prove your identity, social security number and residential address. Visit www.gathergoget.com to find out what you will need to bring.

Hunting / Fishing Permit Changes – Due to changes in Florida legislation, as of 07/01/10 there will be increases to hunting and fishing permits for both residents and non-Florida residents. Real Estate Taxes: Under Florida Statute 197, the Tax Collector has the responsibility for the collection of ad valorem taxes and non-ad valorem taxes. These are levied by the county, municipalities, and various taxing authorities in the county. Ad Valorem taxes are based on the assessed value and the millage of each taxing authority. Non-ad valorem tax assessments are based on the fee charged by the special assessment which provides the service (example: Solid Waste or paving assessments). Click for more information.
